I am always looking for new things to get into! I love getting music, movie, and poetry recommendations. I especially love album recs!

Movies & TV

I like a lot of movies like Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Back to the Future, Lilo & Stitch, WALL-E, Into the Spiderverse, Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail, Princess Mononoke, Ponyo, and more! I've also seen Star Wars episodes 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, and 3, though I wasn't paying attention for a lot of the prequel trilogy. I don't watch much TV and generally enjoy animated series the most but I've seen all of Breaking Bad and loved it.

Video Games

My favorite video game of all time is Celeste. I am also a huge fan of platformers in general. I'm stuck on the Lungfishopolis in Psychonauts, and I used to play a lot of Mincraft but I don't anymore. I've also played some Legend of Zelda but I was never very good at it. I've played a couple short, narrative based games/visual novels like A Short Hike, Butterfly Soup, and Night in the Woods. I use to very actively play Cookie Clicker but it was too distracting so I tried to stop and don't play much anymore, but I am trying to get every achievement currently working on 100 ascends and I might do the shadow achievement 1000 ascends if I feel like it. I also have tried playing Undertale but I'm not good at it so I'm stuck right now.

Music & Theatre

I love all kinds of music but it usually takes me a while to get into new things and I am very fickle about music also. I mostly listen to songs that could be considered hyperpop, and I used to listen to a lot of classic rock. Besides that I listen to some other genres but I more listen to specific artists or bands like Mitski, Janelle Monae, Ezra Furman, Tracy Chapman, Green Day, and Lil Nas X. I'm currently trying to get into Radiohead. I love listening to albums and when an album tells a story or is very cohesive when listened to in order instead of just having songs on it if that makes sense. Some of my favorite albums are Dirty Computer, Transangelic Exodus, A Night at the Opera, None, Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides, Perpetual Motion People, In Rainbows, American Idiot, and Tracy Chapman. I also love the OSTs of Celeste and Princess Mononoke. I like a lot of musicals though I don't listen to them so much anymore. My favorite musical of all time is Rent, and some others I enjoy are Spring Awakening, Once on This Island, and Falsettos.

Hobbies

I love doing things with my hands and being active and I try to maintain a number of hobbies and try new things when I can. I have been trying to spend less time on my phone or doing nothing but I'm not always good at it. I like to read and code, and draw sometimes. I am very good at making friendship bracelets but I haven't done much of that lately. I love doing crosswords and other similar puzzles/games like sudoku. I love hiking and camping, and being in nature. I like to cook when I can, and I also love playing with electric circuits and metal. I've had a couple of chances to do some soldering and welding and really enjoyed both. I also take engineering classes in school where we get to code and wire circuits.
